'Flesh tone' - Portraiture

'River of London' textile design - Tanner Krolle

A repeat pattern designed as part of a branding development project for luxury goods company Tanner Krolle. The brief was to 'feminise' their identity and develop new branding devices and a signature pattern to work harmoniously with their existing branding.

The company logo is a griffin and this sinuous design was created by using the curl in it's tail but it also evokes the bend in the River Thames in London where the company is based, hence the name.

Here's one that got away: Part 1

I sometimes prefer the initial roughs that I produce to the finished design - here's a couple that didn't make it past the 'committee stage', so to speak, but perhaps deserve to see the light of day one more time.

I'll post the 'chosen one' shortly.
